APM - Association for Project Management is the largest independent professional body of its kind in Europe. It has 17,500 individual and 500 corporate members throughout the UK and abroad. Its aim is to develop and promote project management across all sectors of industry and beyond.
The APMP qualification is a knowledge based qualification that allows candidates to demonstrate knowledge of all elements of project management.It is a qualification recognised both nationally and internationally by the IPMA (International Project Management association).
For those who wish to start at the beginning there is also the APM Introductory Certificate which provides a fundamental awareness of project management terminology.
And for those that wish to progress their career onwards there are various qualifications recognising increasing levels of experience, knowledge and competence. These include the Practitioner Qualification, the Certificated Project Manager and finally the newly released APM Registered Project Professional.

The Association for Project Management has over 35 years combining its members' extensive experience in developing the science and art of project management. APMP is an internationally recognised qualification recognising both your technical project management and leadership skills. Candidates who hold a PRINCE2 Registered Practitioner certificate can use a fast-track route to learning and achieving APMP Certification. Some areas of project management that have been examined in PRINCE2 have been removed from the APMP syllabus, giving us the new 'APMP for PRINCE2 Practitioners' exam.
